Development Burlesque/Tease

I'm pretty much done with the actual drawings, i just need to sort out the composition, colours and other bits to finish the image. Kind of stuck with how to make it work, it doesn't help, not really having much of an idea other than just wanting it to look kool :S
I might just keep it simple and just have her and the fob-watch?

Peace

New York Prisoner 63906054

I found this blog today. Its posted on behalf of an English inmate at a prison in New York. One of the most interesting blogs i've read in ages. Recommend!!!

...more from Paris.

The last film from Paris. The Moulin Rouge, the Louvre and my Nans house in Wales. I like the one with the 2 boys popping the bubbles. I've got some new film in the camera now, so i will hopefully have better success with these. I'm happy with the pictures from Paris, but alot of the night ones are too blurry to make out.
Peace.

Chris Gilmour

Whilst making my cardboard boat/shed i was told to look at Chris Gilmour. He's and English artist working in Italy, working in recycled cardboard and glue to make life size models of objects from everyday life; cars, scooters, typewriters etc. Have a look, his work is painstakingly detailed.etc

SexyGunClock?

I've pretty much got over a week off now, for assessment. So i'm going to try and do some personal work as i haven't really had the chance to do any.
This is just an early look at rough compositions and ideas. This image won't really have much meaning/sense behind it, i just wanna make a funky picture. I think the plan is to screen-print it onto a t-shirt, so aesthetics is all that matters.
Ooone more thing, i always seem to want to finish images too quickly when i see they're going how i want them too, but i think i miss out on better ideas and a more pro-fesh outcome when i do that, so im'a calm down on this one and take my time!

Peace!

Paris

Over Christmas me and Julia went to Paris for a few days. As a city Paris has quite a defined look, full of amazing architecture, chic little cafe's, bakers and brasseries.

Developed my last film from Paris...

My Ideal Shed

When I was about 9 or 10 i used to go round my mate's house and we'd chill out in his shed for hours. So when we were asked to come up with our "ideal shed" i thought some kind of hideout would be kool. Having a hideout that could sail anywhere in the world would be even better!

I've also started to realise, i still don't really know how i like to work, and don't yet have a defined style, but i've been told to just enjoy experimenting for now, so watch out for that.

Peace!
